Peljesac - arrival instructions |
|
|
You can reach Peljesac using just your own car. Driving from direction of the north of the Croatia, you would probably choose the most comfortable route - Motorway A1 from Zagreb to Split, Sestanovac (Makarska hinterground), or current most south point - Ravca (near Ploce), contiuing by coastal "Jadranska turisticka cesta" to Ploce.
Note: exit to Split is nicest one in terms of road quality - however, continuing to Sestanovac or Ravca may help you avoid traffic jams arround Split and Makarska during summer peak traffic.
In Ploce you can decide either to board a ferry to Trpanj (Jadrolinija - for ferry schedules), or to continue trough Neum (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Ston on Peljesac peninsula.

You can also use one of the many ship and ferry lines connecting Korcula to several Croatian and Italian ports (see detailed list in full article), or fly to nearest Dubrovnik airport or Split airport. |
